    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 335 externally mounted exhaust fan. The 335 is rated at 1200 CFM, at .1 static pressure. Since the unit is mounted outside, there is no sound level measurement available. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    332H vs 335

For a 36in gas cooktop, what's the recommendation, 335 or 332H? One thing I noticed is that, although 335 is 1200 CFM vs 900CFM for 332H, 335's rated amps is 3.0, which is lower than 332H (rated amps 5.8). Why 332H has higher rated amps? What does "H" mean, for 332H?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 332H and 335 exterior mounted exhaust fans. When sizing a fan for a kitchen you need to know the BTU rating of the range. You need a minimum of 1 CFM for every 100 BTU. Please contact the Technical Service Department at 800-637-1453 for further assistance.

    Answer:
The controls on the hood are designed to operate and have only been tested with the internal blower. Wiring an exterior or in-line blower to the AP130BL range hood would void the warranty of the product.

    Answer:
Thank you for your question on the model 335 exterior exhaust fan. The outside of the 335 is brushed aluminum, so you should have no problem painting it. We would suggest that you go to a local paint shop and get their recommendations on primer and paint.
