  • L400 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kicks butt! This exhaust fan met my expectations. The construction is solid and the unit carries some weight so be prepared to support accordingly. At 2.3 sones, this unit whispers while it works. I also purchased the speed control, which I may deem unnecessary after more usage since the unit is so quiet at full speed.

  • Does this model come with the 4.5x18.5x10" transitional duct connector

    Asked by: HVAC Guy
Thank you for your question on the L400 ventilation fan. This model does not come with the transition. The L400 uses a duct size of 4-1/2" x 18-1/2" and we recommend transitioning this to a 10" round using the model number 423. This is available separately.

Can this be used in a hobbyist work shop to extract wood dust and paint fumes?

    Asked by: woody
Thank you for your question on the model L400 exhaust fan. The L400 is designed to exhaust stale air and is not actually designed to extract wood dust. The unit is also not explosion proof, so it should not be used to exhaust volatile fumes.
