Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Product! We had our kitchen completely redone. We moved the site for the stove top so we needed a new range hood. Our contractor sent me out to look at hoods. I couldn't locate any that I liked to match my vision of a country kitchen. My contractor said to leave it to him as he knew what I wanted. He purchased this hood & installed it & had the cabinet maker build a matching "chimney" for it. It is beautiful & I love using it. It's so quiet, has plenty of lighting, & the fan has cleared out whatever I've cooked since it's installation. I'm so thankful I didn't have to settle for a stainless chimney!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really like this hood and all its features. I love the features on this hood. The grill located in the middle of the hood was a selling point also. I finally have a hood that I can clean or replace the grill easily. This particular hood was difficult to install in my kitchen because I have granite cabinet tops that extend up the wall to reach my upper cabinets. This left a gap on the back wall. I didn't want to paint the wall, so I gave it some thought. I went to Lowe's and bought a piece of stainless steel that matched the hood. We cut it to conceal the gap and placed it on the wall. We installed the hood and it looks like it was made that way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally ! After having gone through four Range Hoods, we have found one that removes smoke and cooking odors without sounding like a 747 taking off. I think one of the features we like best is the flush bottom side of the unit, this makes cleaning much easer, but as I have already noted, this unit moves a good deal of air and is also very quiet, the controls are touch sensitive and illuminated with an automatic cut off for the fan, great unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple to use controls, love the Led lighting on controls. Love the different settings. Easy to operate push buttons. Led lighting is very attractive, makes an outstanding night light. Easy to clean, and most of all, quiet while in operation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The install was difficult because of the wiring harness routing We needed a unit to replace an old GE over the range hood. It needed to have a low profile (not to exceed 6 inches in height. This unit fit the bill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Broan Hood is GREAT! Compared to the previous hood, this one is much quieter. It does remove the smoke and odor effectively. love the features that came with it. When I finish cooking, I usually hit the delay button which turns off the running fan after 10 mins. The two LED lights positioned in front of the hood gives off a lot of light which I like. Also like the filter cleaner reminder and the heat sentry which bumps up the fan up when all the burners are in use. Installed the hood ourselves. Do love this hood!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very effective It really fails to pick up the steam or smoke produced by the new stove, seems to just rise into the lights. Not very satisfied.... My downdraft JennAir did a wonderful job at that.

  • What do the 2 buttons on the right do?

    Asked by: Anonymous
the button that has a circle that looks like a clock is the delay off button for the fan. once you are done cooking you can hit this button and the fan will keep running at the set speed and turn itself off after 10 minutes. The other button located to the right of the above button is the reminder to clean the filter.

How to reset the filter change indicator light

This is the first time I've had to change the filter. The manual says to press and hold the button for 3 seconds to reset. I've tried this but it's still flashing. Is there something else I should be doing?
    Asked by: Anonymous
That should work, I found that sometimes you have to touch it in different spots.

Take out the 4 screws on the bottem and also the 4 screws where the filter is. the piece will come down in the back and slide towards the back. Sticker is on the left side.
