Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fan I thought the price a little steep but the quietness of this fan makes it worth the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the humidity sensor! I bought this because of the humidity sensor, it cost a bit more and was A tad bit bigger then the one I currently had but well worth it. I wish I had this in my bathroom before. It makes you wonder how much moisture much have been there after each shower, yuck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet Yet Powerful I added this to the master bath. The humidity sensor works well and the fan starts right up once the shower gets going. Make sure to buy the 3 way switch as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quitest bath fan I've ever not heard This lighted vent fan is an excellent option for easy installation and ease of operation. I love the automatic humidity sensor and the night light feature. set it up and forget it. Never have to remember to shut off the fan because with this fan we'll never hear it running.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Repeat buyer I am now ordering my fourth unit. It is so quiet that I have to listen carefully to see if it is on. It does a great job of sensing the moisture and removing it. If it detects moisture after the first cycle, it will switch back on immediately. The night light is nice to have. Be sure to also order Broan 66W switch. If you have a label gun, it is handy to put labels on the 3 switches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quietest exhaust fan I've ever heard! Fan/light was installed about a month ago & so far I LOVE it!! The fan is so quiet you really have to listen to be sure it's on. Love the auto off feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatly Exceeded Expectations Looks great and is so quiet. The powerful airflow keeps the room moisture free. The fan automatically goes on about 20 seconds after the shower is turned on. It knows if the room has too much moisture after the first cycle and clicks on again if needed. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. I bought the recommended switch and they work well together. The installer said the wiring was a little tricky so I think most people would have trouble installing this alone.

  • Are there any detail instructions on how to adjust humidity/timer settings? There don't seem to be any close up views of this.

Mine is not installed in shower, but seems to be coming on too often, possibly responding to A/C floor vent.
    Asked by: MFitz
Thank you for your question on the QTXE110SFLT. If your fan is responding to often to environmental changes or conditions, adjustment toward 80% RH may be required. To adjust the humidity you will want to turn off power to the fan. Through the grille you can locate the humidity screwdriver slot. Using a small, flat blade screwdriver, carefully rotate 'humidity' adjustment toward 50 or 80. Next, turn the power on and check the operation by turning on the shower or other humidity source until the fan turns on. Repeat these steps if necessary. If you need further assistance, please contact our Technical Support Department directly at 800-637-1453. They will be happy to try to help you more.

    Replace the ballast?

The fluorescent light in my unit only seems to work when the outside temperature is fairly high (above 85F/30C). I replaced the light bulb and checked the connections, but the performance has not changed. I think the ballast has gone bad. How do I replace the ballast?
