Not much to say about a duct transition device. It does what it was designed to do. And the flaps appear well-secured. However, the manufacturer would do well by strategically placing a couple of those little rubber bumpers used on cabinet doors to quiet them. When the fan is turned off, the flaps drop closed, and are noisy. I have a vertical application. I ended up installing a few little cork bumpers along the edge of the flaps and that dulled the sound to a more acceptable level.
