Press & hold the colored light button on the wall control for approximately 4-5 seconds. The grille will begin slowly transitioning through the color spectrum.
ANSWER
The ChromaComfort fan will only respond to commands from the included wall control or a smart device if it is powered. For the best experience we recommended wiring the unit for constant power. However, regulations in your state, province, or municipality may require use of a master switch controlling power to the unit.
ANSWER
We recommend installing the wall control to a standard single-gang electrical box.
ANSWER
Make sure that you are conducting the pairing operation within the first 3 minutes of applying power to the unit. This pairing window protects against accidentally pairing to the wrong device in the case of multi-bathroom homes, or multifamily housing units.
ANSWER
The grille takes some time to receive and interpret commands that are sent. If a second command is sent while the grille is still interpreting the first command, it may be ignored.
ANSWER
No. It is only possible for a unit to be paired to one wall control at a time.
ANSWER
Every command sent to the unit overwrites the previous command. If you set an auto-off timer, but then send another command without the timer (through the wall control, for instance) the timer will be overwritten.
ANSWER
The colors displayed in the app are meant to be representative of those on the grille, but are not calibrated to be an exact match.
ANSWER
No. At this time the cover plate is only available for a single control in the white color. The wall control is compatible with standard rectcangular opening cover plates, though use with metallic cover plates may impact performance.
ANSWER
The LED indicator on the wall control will blink when the batteries are low. If the indicator is blinking, or not turning on at all, try changing the batteries.
ANSWER
Scene playback will transition from one specified color to another along a straight-line path through color-space. During that transition, the grille will display the colors along that path. Often this results in a blend of the two specified colors being displayed during transition. In cases of high contrast colors (those chosen from opposite sides of the color wheel), the path may cross through a white light area.
ANSWER
This is dependant on your device settings. If an update is published, the app source (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) will notify you.
